ECMC - Student Loan - Question!

Hi, We have made our last chapter 13 payment. The claim summary in NDC shows claim amount for ECMC as 56,050. Scheduled amount 55,782. Principal Paid 26,338. Principal owed. .03 Cwn someone please translate that for me? What should I expect when everything is complete with courts? Assuming I will owe student loans still. Thanks!

You will still owe on the student loan less the $26,338 paid during the Chapter 13, less interest and costs. I think that's pretty cool to get it paid down that much (I'm guessing at least $22K of it). Some Trustees don't like to pay student loans since they go into deferment during the Chapter 13.

Once the Chapter 13 is discharged, you'll need to make regular student loan payments.
