    Ch13 Discharge πŸŽ‰

    In Chapter 13 for 5 years, 1 month, 11 days.....
    We made our last payment last month in March. We just received our Order of Discharge from the trustee last night. I'm so happy.

    Its been a long emotional road. The ch13 helped us save our home from foreclosure, deal with medical debt, credit card debt and we paid off our car. It's been extremely difficult but really glad I filed.

        That's fantastic! We made our last payment in March and are still waiting.

        We've sent our Certificates of Compliance to our attorney. Apparently closing takes a while in our area. Keeping our fingers crossed it all goes smoothly.

          Congratulations! This is like hitting the reset button in a good way. From here on, it will be nothing but good things. Filing bk for me 11 years ago helped me achieved my financial goals, paticularly retirement before 61. Enjoy your newfound financial freedom!

            I'm in California, so even though we filed a month behind you and made our last payment in March 2023 I still have a couple months to go
