I filed chapter 13 in June of 2020 and I am still awaiting confirmation. My attorney has filed an objection to 3 claims totaling $19,000. The judge granted the objection and those claims have been barred from my bankruptcy. I’m hoping this is a good thing. My total claims amount prior to the objections was $48,000 and change. If I take the $19,000 off of my claims register it leaves me with $29,000 owing. Over the last 11 months I’ve paid $8900 to my trustee. I’m wondering how all this change will effect how my trustee will proceed. Will he increase the amount I pay monthly and shorten my time in the plan? Will my expense schedules have to be reworked? I’ve got a call into my attorney with the same questions but have not heard back. Thank you for reading as well as any insight you may have.

I think you have lots of options as it sounds like you'll now be in a 100% plan. I'm thinking this might come down to you, the fatter the monthly payment, the shorter the duration of the Chapter 13. By my simple calculations, if you stay with your exact monthly payment, you'll finish your bankruptcy in roughly 40 months.Chapter 13 (not 100%):- Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank cum Bank of Southern California
