Update 3/10: It appears I have now reached my limit of phone calls. I have called for the last 8 days consecutively after getting zero information in the month preceding. I am given the same response and told the same thing until today. I was told today that there is no point in calling because there is no update and they don't know why the "office manager" isn't calling me back. You could tell in her tone she was tired of hearing from me and has zero empathy for me. I'm shocked there is no reasonable time put on them to complete the work for which they have been paid. I have accounts coming off my credit report before my case is even closed. Unbelievable....
