A debtor can file a creditor claim on their behalf? Or what's this debtor filing a creditor claim stuff about? My credit claims are coming in, payment one of sixty is due on the 6th.
TIA
A debtor can file a claim for a creditor, but neither the creditor not the debtor needs to do this. The only time a debtor would file a claim on behalf of a creditor is typically for a secured creditor that they want to be paid through the plan. Example: I had a tax certificate against my home for property taxes. The tax certificate holder did not file a claim (although the county did). I filed on on their behalf and they were paid.

Any advice provided is not legal advice, but simply the musings of a fellow bankrupt.
Another time a debtor might file a proof of claim for a creditor is if they have student loans that they want to receive a portion of the disbursements that will be made by the trustee to unsecured creditors. Student loan lenders often do not bother filing claims and instead just put the loan in deferment.
