Has anyone been successful with getting court approval to purchase a home while in Chapter 13? Did the judge approve it? I have made my final payment in July 16, but still awaiting discharge.

I haven't, but others have reported having home loans approved while in Chap 13. Since you have finished your plan, it should be easy to get court approval. But, you will have to pay attorney fees to get it done.LadyInTheRed is in the black!
Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
