order of discharge to case closed

My chapter 13 order to discharge was writer Aug 11th. How long does it take for the case to be closed? There seems to be no set amount of time. What is happening during this time period and when can I expect this to happen? I am from Ohio. Thanks

While there are some differences in the amount of time between discharge and a case being closed, in a Chapter 13, expect it to take 60-90 days (or even more). The Trustee must perform a final accounting, await for checks to clear, deal with any returned checks, and audit the case. Creditors are also afforded time to object to the discharge (which they seldom do at this point).

Congratulations on your discharge. That's the actual gold!
