Chapter 13 confirmed Sept 2012, 60 months, 50% payback, above median income. Not all creditors filed a claim, 50% met in early November 2015. At the end of November, NDC status changed to "nearing completion". They payments are still coming out of my check weekly, yet nothing has been going out since November. I haven't heard from the trustee, nor have I contacted the trustee. I called my attorney last week. They sent paperwork to take final financial class required, and another form stating I didn't have any domestic obligations. I'm guessing it was a formality because I've never had child support, etc. (Never divorced and children are grown.) Could this REALLY be the beginning of the end???

It could be. This varies by court. Sometimes, if the plan said 50%, the trustee will allow the plan to end when all claims have been paid 50%. Others (and probably most) will insist that you continue to pay until you pay 100% of all claims are reach the 60 month commitment period. Cross your fingers, but don't completely count on it.
Yes, everybody has to sign the domestic obligation form, even if they have never had to pay domestic support.LadyInTheRed is in the black!
Filed Chap 13 April 2010. Discharged May 2015.
$143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

YAHOO! NDC status is Discharged/Paid in Full!!! Also, check issued to debtor for balance on hand not disbursed to creditors. I have no answers...how it was discharged prior to 60 months, but I'll take it! Of course, it won't be real until I receive the papers in the mail. Oh happy day! I'm still shaking and it's been an hour since I found out! 😆😆😆😆
