    DISHCHARGED 12/07/15

    WOOHOO! Last payment was July and finally got my discharge a few days ago.

    Total debt $86964.98 Total paid 17,489.86 into 4 year plan. Second lien stripped and I have instant equity now. My lawyer will contact the second mortgage company to have them officially reconvey the second.

    Pink slip is being mailed to me and its ALL OVER!!! (I hope)

    Now to see if I can get a first mortgage modification to a lower interest rate or a refi.

    2 years post discharge and life is most definitely gooooood!

    As to a refi, if you have a conventional loan the wait time is generally 2 years after discharge. However, HARP may be available if you qualify. Good luck.

      Congratulations!!! Such a great feeling.

      I would love to hear update on your refinancing. I'm working on building credit before seeing what options we would have.

          I hope to get my discharge in 30-60 days time frame as well. I love to see more people getting to the finish line.
