We filed in May and have made three payments. All three have been for different amounts with the fourth now also set as a different amount. We have had to sign a total of 4 I & J's. I did have a wage change so I certainly understand one. Our bankruptcy has not yet been approved by the trustee as our 341 meeting was three days after my wage change. I provided stubs at the new wage and signed new I & J's and thought we were finally there. Now, I get an email from our attorney saying the trustee wants to see the last three months of gas receipts, dr bills, etc. I don't have a problem providing what has been requested, but seriously, how long does this go on?

Every district is different. I had to provide bank statements in my district, but a friend in a nearby district had to provide three months worth of bills and receipts that caused his delays.
It will help those who are better qualified or experienced than I to answer your question if they new the district you were in.11/23/'10-filed ch 13. 1/6/'11-341, confirmed. Below median. Plan completed 11/30/2015. DISSCHARGED 4/4/2016.JP

Not sure how long it will go on for but fight until the very end on how much you are going to pay, you will be stuck with that payment for the next 5 years. I had my mom sign for a brand new car when i started my 13 which i was told wouldn't fly, it did, raised my 401k up but lowered it back which i heard wouldn't work but it did, keep a used car i had, quite a few other things, keep fighting the trustee and lawyer could care less on what your living on for the next 5 years.

That's odd to me. What my atty did was a really rough est at first meeting and he told me approx what he thought my payment would be and he nailed it. It stayed that amt and I am almost at 3 year mark. It hasn't changed but you never know!Discharge date: October 2017 (will it ever get here?)
