Voided Check Payment to Secured Creditor posted in my NDC

I checked NDC today and noticed that the March disbursement for my mortgage arrears was listed as a "voided check" in April. It was a smaller amount than usual to my mortgage lender and my April disbursement for my mortgage arrears is nearly double the voided amount. What do you think occurred? Seems like NDC likes to throw everyone a few curveballs every now and then.

Either the check got lost in the mail or was returned for some reason. It's nothing to worry about. Your job is to make the plan payments. Let the trustee worry about the disbursements to creditors. You can't be penalized during your Chap 13 if a creditor receives a payment late.

My trustee voided a check to Citi Mortgage who holds my second mortgage that is being stripped, so it is an unsecured debt, not arrears. The first check was sent to Citi about 4 years into my plan after my car loan and attorney fees were paid off. It was cashed. Citi apparently refused the 2nd payment and that check was voided and the trustee started accumlating the payments that were due to Citi. When I finished my plan payments, the trustee filed a declaration about depositing the funds due to Citi into a trust account for unclaimed funds and a new check was written to Citi for deposit to that account. Not sure why Citi didn't accept the payment, but it all worked out in the end.

I'm not worried, but curious as to what I see on NDC and why it occurs.

I had seen, back in 2009, an entire month of checks issued and then all voided. Then all re-issued the following month. I don't know how they run their business there at the Trustee's office! Especially they complained, to me, that the would only issue me one refund check because it costs them $1 to issue a check.
