    We made it! Discharged!

    It's been a long 5 years. Here are some highlights of things we did DURING our plan:

    1. Returned a Leased Car in Year 1
    2. Bought a Brand New Car and we Modified the Plan in Year 1
    3. Spouse Quit a Job and we Modified the Plan in Year 2
    4. Sold a Main Residence and we Modified the Plan in Year 3
    5. Relocated to a New State in Year 3
    6. Hired a New Attorney in Year 4
    7. Bought a New Main Residence in year 5 (FHA Loan @ 4.25 - Will refinance soon) and we Modified the Plan - PM me if you would like to know my Mortgage Lender.

    The only time the payment changed is for #2 and 3 above

    Discharged the end of April!

    I have not posted in a few years, but thanks to everyone who provided assistance and advice during a very difficult time in our life.

      $143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!

                          What happened to your plan with #2 after you bought a new car? I filed a year ago, car broke down that was in plan, surrendering it, in the process of financing a new car (with permission).... how did that effect your plan?
