I dont have Social Security card- not enough time

I have the original stub for the card- which has my name on it and the number.

I ordered a new card- they kicked back the paper work- and said I need to send in copy of state photo ID. There is not enough time to get a new card.

I have a valid passport and DL. I have a medicare card which has the SSN on it. I have 2012 SSA 1099 which has the number on it. I have 2009 IRS transcript which has SSN on it. I have 2 different credit bureau reports with partial number on it. I have mortgage interest 1098 2012 with social security number on it. I have the state access card which is for medicaid and food stamps- but no number on it.

I can order the new card- but it will not get here before the hearing.

I read that other papers can be used in place of the Social Security card.

Should I ask the postpone the 341?

Update!

I found one of them.

Next worry- it says JOHN C DOE II ...I have stopped using the "II". There is a corrected card somewhere- I hope the "II" is not a problem.

I am jumping up and down! I found the rx for my eye glasses! Now I can order a new pair!!

anykey, i know this is hard, but you have to chill.

just take some breaths this is all going to run it's course. it's all going to be ok, there is NOTHING that can't be fixed, repaired or replaced. except U. so try as hard as it seems to relax, take a walk, go get some of your favorite movies or your favorite book that makes you drift off into some peace. you will be able to think clearer and make your decisions in a more sound mind set. you have the support of this board, someone is always here to help or listen or both. you will make it through this promise.

I can not talk to my family- as they will only make it more stressful.

I feel like I am prepared. I sure will keep y'all posted. I am happy I found my eye glass prescription. I had gotten new ones but the old ones work better. The eye doctor had said I could use either pair. So now I can order a new pair in the rx that I prefer.

The lady and I had a big fight about the electric bill last night. Some woman feel that every second has to be filled with chatter- then when I am quiet she insists something is wrong- but she talks non stop and I cant get a word in. At dinner she has to tell me every thought that popped into her head that day. I end up eating faster to get away from it. Just let me get the 341 over with before I can get into the we have to talk mode. When I am the strong silent type- then I get in trouble for that too.

I can not talk to her about things I posted. She will make it worse. She will ask "now what?" if I knew the solution, then it wouldnt be a problem. She also has hearing loss- so I have to tell her everything 2x, but not raise my voice. She asks me to repeat something even before she is sure she did not hear it. If I talk loud I am yelling at her. If I am the strong silent type- then that is a problem too.

i hear you no pun intended!! mine at least agreed FINALLY on the earring aids ($6100 i can't believe it still). it's going to take what a year to pay for those.. we could have gone with the cheaper ones of course that means you get to hear twice less than if you spend more money. how sad this world is.

you're luckier than me, i would not have been able to find my glasses prescription because i would have needed by glasses on to see to be able to find them. it's so fun getting old isn't it!! LOL!!

this is a trying time for even the bests of relationships. the stress in itself is cause to not being able to maintain one's patients like you use to. the slightest thing can set one off. so it's best to be mindful and maybe when things are quiet and calm is the best time to speak with her about all this. this is NO ones fault. many LOVE to use fault, guilt, whatever, that gets you both nowhere fast. sounds to me like she's acting like a normal woman LOL!!!! we have to fill those gaps of silence in otherwise it surely means something must be wrong. hahaha...its just our nature we can't fight it many times even if we try, so maybe you can try to not be so hard on yourself or her

She just bought 1 hearing aid. I am not sure it helps.

On glasses I have a few pair- one in the old rx, one in the news rx. The dr said if I am on the computer alot the old rx would be the better choice. I am online 12 hours a day. The plastic lenses in my old pair are starting to turn yellow. I switched eye drs so.. and it is over a year. PA has a law that any rx has to be less then a year old to be filled- even if you break your glasses you can not legally replace them in PA if the rx is older then a year.

I have injuries and pain levels. I think I am organized now. Tho I do have to show up. It sounds easy- but I stress causes me to have black outs. I am hoping this does not happen.
