I wanted to say that this forum has helped me a lot as I go through my ch. 13. thank you. I had my 341 meeting and it wasn't bad at all. It took about 5 min and I was actually the first one that was called, there wasn't really anyone else there except 2 couples. The one presiding wasn't even the actually trustee, it was an attorney. She asked me the normal questions. She did ask about a couple of deposits that I made. one was for 3000 dollars and asked if it was a gift or loan and I said it was a gift to help me catch up on my mortgage and another 3000 which was deposited which I took from a loan from my 401k and was deposited to my account automatically from the 401k company. I did state in my filing that I paid a creditor which was a payday loan totaling 605 and she had a little smiley smirk on her face because if the total is over 600 i have to mention it my filing which I did. Other than that she just said to get them a copy of my 2011 income tax return and the lease agreements of my rental properties and she said have a nice day. I admit I was nervous about the meeting but after reading all the posts here, I was relaxed and kept my answers short and simple.
