Thank you so much.. I believe I still have 60 days from the 341 to ensure none of the creditors object. This would be a huge weight off my shoulders and would allow me to get back on my feet much quicker... Thanks goodness.

I just wanted to update. I had my 341 on 10/31/11 so I was sweating out the UST deadline of 14 days. As of yesterday, there is no negative info posted on pacer, so I guess i'm okay on that front. So the next deadline I believe is the 60 day mark. I hope it comes with no issues. I pulled my credit reports yesterday and found that all my accounts with the exception of one have been updated with $0 balance and IIB notation.

GOOD FOR YOU!!!! Nothing here yet...don't know why - not just me...I've trolled PACER and there is about 40% of the cases are still outstanding...including a lady who has no assets just a bucket of med bills living on Soc Security...
So I don't know...
My 30 days are up OF COURSE on the day after Thanksgiving.......

OMG!! I just checked pacer. I was coming up to the deadline of 90 days and I just saw the following filed today:
"Motion to Extend Time To Object to Discharge, in addition to Motion re: Extend Time To File Motion To Dismiss. Filed by United States Trustee. Hearing scheduled for 1/23/2012 at 09:00 AM at NLW - Courtroom 3D, Newark. (Attachments: # 1 Certification # 2 Proposed Order # 3 Certificate of Service) (United States Trustee, byXXXXXXXX, Trial Attorney) (Entered: 12/29/2011)"
I am so sad now. I thought I was going into a new year with a fresh start now it looks like my chapter 7 filing will be dismissed or I will be forced into a chapter 13. I mentioned when I started this thread that I got a new higher paying job during the time I filed but racked up a lot of debt due to a failed business and low income. What do you think will happen at the meeting? Do I show up at this meeting? I just left a voicemail with my attorney and waiting for him to get back to me.

First, this is odd if the UST never contacted you about anything since filing. (Or, I missed a posting or two.)

It will be interesting as to what approach your attorney takes. From this thread, I see nowhere that the UST's office was asking you for additional paperwork or that you failed to provide it. Your attorney may attend the hearing and press the UST on that fact. The fact that they didn't do anything in the 60-days and should NOT be granted an extension!
You really need to speak to your attorney. I don't know if representation at a motion to extend is covered by your fee agreement. Only your attorney can let you know if s/he'll fight this for you. Personally, I'd attack the UST purely on the extension of time as a non-starter. However, most Judges grant the first extension request rather readily.
The key is in the details of the motion to extend. What is the UST's basis for the extension?Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

I had a similar situation in that I had low income that last few years before the filing, with also high dent ($140K.) The trustee did ask if I ever made more money, to which I responded that before Hurricane Katrina, I had some high income years, making a dollar a minute as a consultant, and I got a big government grant to rebuild from Katrina. He didn't ask me for any records - to which I would have responded that all my records were destroyed by ... (I think you can guess.)
As most folks, I was a bit concerned, but my attorney said right after that unless some creditor objected, I would get my discharge (which I did exactly 60 days later. )Last edited by JackBondLove; 12-30-2011, 07:18 PM.
