Not sure how it went. First the trustee did a double take with my license then showed his assistant. Maybe I don't look the same? Who knows. I am filing 7 and keeping the house. He asked when I had it appraised last. It was around 2003 and it appraised at 130,000. Right now houses in my area are going for 30-40. He doesn't think its worth that now does he? Also, he wants a copy of my home owners insurance. Any idea why he would want that?

The Trustee is always interesting in a.) how you reached the value of your home that is on the schedules, b.) when that valuation was done, and c.) whether you are "protecting" the interests of the creditor -- by maintaining insurance! I wouldn't worry about the double take. Perhaps the Trustee never seen such a great picture on a driver's license before!
