Yes. They have 60 days to file objections to discharge of debt with the court. Do a search for "60 day club" and you ll get a lot of posts. Im on day 42 of 60 right now. From what I understand, MOST of the time they try and write a "scare letter" to your attorney before they formally object with the court since it costs lots of money to object (read the "Adversary Proceedings" forum also since that is the official court term when they object), but they are not REQUIRED to...they can just file with the court directly. But Im hoping since I havent rec'd any letters or anything from creditors at this point, that Im probably safe...but until day 61 I wont feel totally comfortable!
Best of luck!

Yes, they can. sh9730 did a very good job of explaining the situation. In most cases, the creditor won't bother, but sometimes there is a hard****bleep, bleep, out there that will try and make your life more miserable than it already is.
Just breathe deep, stay calm, and carry on. You will be fine. It DOES get better.
My best to you!!Last edited by AngelinaCat; 07-14-2011, 08:19 PM."To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."
