My stomach is in knots.

My attorney sent a package to us on 6/20, we didn't receive it until yesterday, the 22nd. He asked that we bring copies of our bank statements for the dates of 3/25/11 - 5/25/11, with a balance shown for 5/25/11 (our official petition date). Is this at the trustee's request? And if so, is this normal?

I wish I could tell you - it could be district specific, it could also be atty being extra careful - the balance as of date of filing, that's more normal. It could also be that he didn't submit something to Trustee, and he may do so when (if) he's asked for it...

I don't see anything abnormal with your attorney's request. I had to provide the same exact things to him. I also had to give him a "snapshot" of my bank account balance on the day of filing. I wouldn't worry about the document requests.

Take a deep breath, your 341 will be a thing of the past in no time!
