    3rd Continuance. What the...?

Mine's a no asset Ch 7, filed 2/25/11. I don't own a home, my business (consulting) is an s-corp with no assets & the earnings, passed through on my personal tax returns, put me within the means test.

My 1st 341 was 4/6/11, I filed my business returns 3/15/11 so I brought them to the meeting in case they were requested. They were, I handed them over & got continued pending review.

2nd 341 was 4/27 - no appearance necessary, but got continued to 5/27, pending further review.

Again no appearance necessary & again continued to 6/27.

The most recent notice from the trustee says "the trustee is investigating the existence/value of any assets & may continue the meeting of the creditors until that investigation is completed."

Nothing further than what I submitted has been requested. I submitted everything completely & truthfully.

No objections from any creditors during the 60 days from 4/6 - 6/6.

So I'm wondering if anyone may have some thoughts about what's going on? I'm more than frustrated to say the least.

    Thanks.

The UST is looking for assets. When he finds none, your case will move forward as it should. In the meantime, just be patient and provide whatever documentation is requested. It might help you to do a search of "s corp" here on the forum. Many others before you have had hoops to traverse while moving towards discharge. Hang in there.

So, I'm FINALLY happy to say I got my report of no distribution today, 8/2/11. After having, filed 2/25/11, undergoing one appearance at a 341 meeting in 4/11, 4 continuances thereafter, & a 2 week period of no activity, after the last scheduled continued meeting.

Weird, prolonged, unfathomable, stressful, but over. Thanks to all on this forum & this forum itself for helping me survive this gauntlet - now on to rebuilding & moving forward.

        Seriously, thanks.
