Like everyone else here the days leading up to the 341 hearing were trying to say the least. I stopped by the SS office and got a print out of my number in lieu of the actual card. This satisfied the Trustee.
It was painless and smooth. No creditors present and my BK attorney said it went very well. I was dressed in a black blazer, black trousers, white button down shirt-no tie.
Everyone upon entering the building (security) asked me if I was an attorney. Never hurts to dress well. Some of the outfits worn by the other debtors were amazingly tacking for a court hearing IMO. Anyways, glad it's over and behind me.
Questions asked were standard and nothing out of the ordinary. Lasted about 5 minutes tops and I get to keep my tax return! It's a little over 1K but every little bit helps.
