We had our 341 this morning and I am so glad it's done and over with. It went smoothly though and I am thankful to have had this forum and our excellent attorney to guide us along the way.
There were maybe 10 cases scheduled during our time slot and we were somewhere around number 7 to appear. We waited and watched those ahead of us and that helped a lot. The trustee was not really grilling people too much, but there were a few cases where he had extra questions or they weren't prepared and he didn't like that.
He asked the very basic questions, state your names and address, did you read over the petition before signing it, are all your debts and assests listed, keeping or surrendering the house, keeping the autos. There was one specific question regarding a one time payout from a former company, but he seemed satisfied with the answers and asked if there were any creditors present (which there weren't) thanked us for appearing and wished us luck. Lasted all of a few minutes and that was typical for most of the cases.
Now we wait and hope that all goes well from here on out. Thanks again for all those who share their knowledge and experience on this forum
