    Well, That was Easy

So after a couple of sleepless nights, I finally had my 341 meeting. I filed pro se. A couple of weeks before the meeting I had emailed the trustee to ask if she needed any other paperwork from me. She requested some some bank statements and an explanation of my self-employed income. I did my best to be honest, thorough, and polite.

Got to my meeting way too early (we had to take a couple of buses, so I allotted plenty of travel time). Hung out in the nearby library for an hour before heading over. Got there early and listened to several cases. No huge dramas, but everyone had some extra questions asked or problems with their case (for example, the other pro se filer hadn't given the trustee a copy of her tax returns).

Then it was our turn. The trustee called us up, asked us the required questions, and we were done in under 2 minutes. We were definitely the fastest case of the day. Everything was a yes or no answer.

I haven't really posted on here, but this message board has been such a help for me. I've already completed and filed my debtor education course with the bank, so now I'm just playing the waiting game. I put off filing for far too long and it seems unreal that it will be over soon.
