Yippee hooray! My 341 went great! It took me longer to park than to wait and speak with the trustee!
I was a little worried because I looked him up online and his paragraph of needed/expected materials for 341 meetings was 3 times as long as all the other trustees. I organized all my papers and brought them with me. My 341 took place in the Joliet IL City Hall (even though I live in another county) and I almost sat in on a City Council meeting - good thing I noticed them preparing a PowerPoint presentation or I would have MISSED my 341. The 341 meeting room location had been changed, so I had the wrong directions. It PAYS to be early, folks, just in case!
There were a lot of people milling around in what was pretty much a large hallway by the elevators. Many had lawyers with them. The couple before me was in for about 10 minutes and the trustee asked them a lot of questions. Mine took all of 30 seconds - wow, the trustee rattled off my questions quickly. My BIGGEST RELIEF...he asked me if I was expected a tax refund in excess of $6K and I could honestly answer NO to that, so I am feeling that my tax refund which I desperately need is SAFE. And the icing on the cake...he said "great job with the schedules and paperwork" when he reviewed them he did not even realize I had filed pro se!!!
