    My 341 is pau!

(pau is Hawaiian for done, dead, completed...)

Had my 341 this morning. Brought a ton of documentation for the excess medical expenses I claimed on my means test.

Trustee had some questions about my paperwork and exempt items, but the questions more arose from him not being super familiar with my paperwork (who can blame him). At the end he complemented me on the paperwork (filed pro se and did not use a preparer) and even suggested I should consider a career as a bankruptcy attorney!

Ha! Still to go is filing an AP to try and get my student loans discharged. But I'll worry about that in January!
Filed Ch 7 pro se Oct 2010 . Filed student loan AP pro se Feb 2011 . Discharged Feb 2011 . AP trial 1/10/2012 . $28K in student loans dismissed Jan 2012 . ECMC appealed. Appeal hearing 7/2012. Original judgment upheld 9/2012.

Thanks all! Feels good to have made it over that hurdle. And sure come on out to the land of Aloha--it's more fun to visit than actually live here because it's so expensive!
