We had our 341 today. It was literally over in about 2 minutes. The trustee pretty much asked everyone the same basic questions. There were probably 30 cases waiting. We were in the 1st ten. They all went very quickly and smoothly. I was worried about a pending inheritance from my deceased grandfather (complicated matter). Trustee asked a couple of questions about it, reminded me to report anything I get out of it and then moved right along. No problems at all. The most interesting part of the ordeal was how different everyone was dressed. There was a man after us wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and flip-flops! Most had jeans and sneakers. I was a little suprised at that. I felt overessed with a long sleeve button down shirt and dockers, lol. Anyway, payment #2 of a 60 month 100% plan coming up next week and many more to go.

Congratulations on a successful 341! After reading some of the posts here about people wearing shorts at the 341, I was surprised to find that most people wore business casual at my 341.Filed Chapter 7 on July 30, 2010

First, Congratulations on the easy 341....
I'm in court a lot for various lawsuits and I have to tell you the way people dress is pretty bad, imo.
Whatever one may think of the court system, at least to me, it shows no respect to dress so poorly.
And I don't buy the argument, "well they're so poor they can't afford to dress decently."
EVERYBODY can afford a decent shirt, slacks and pair of shoes.
