It was very uneventful. We had to provide our prior year W-2(to verify social security number), current bank statements, photo ID's, copies of homeowner's & auto insrance policies. The attorney from the trustee's office was pleasant and professional. Our attorney prepped us well. Only speak when spoken to. We verified the information that was provided to the trustee's attorney. The attorney asked when the car that we purchased in 2008 will be paid off. We responded that our car will be paid off in 6/2014. Since we will not reach Chapter 13 payment #60 until 5/2015(god willing)., that leaves 11 months between the end of the car payments and the end of our scheduled Chapter 13payments. Guess what the trustee is going to want to be added to our plan? You got it, tack on the car loan payment to our last 11 payments. Not definite, but likely. However, our attorney let us know that this may be coming prior to the meeting. No suprises, no excitement. My opinion; have a good attorney and you will sail through. The people in the trustee's office seemed to know him and respect him. It is not something anyone wants to go through, but at least we were prepared.
