I mostly lurked and learned on this forum, but the information was invaluable. I am sure I would have suffered a million heart attacks had I not had the wisdom and success stories from those who went before us...that and a very thorough Attorney. Our 341 for our (myself and husband) personal Chapter 7 was very easy...honestly I was worried! We had a very very high credit card balance including business debt ( "C" Corp), so I expected to be grilled on the hows and whys and business assets etc... We were 3rd in our time slot, but had arrived early and caught some earlier so we knew what to expect. Our trustee was very cut and dry and somewhat laid back and is also a creditors attorney in his private practice, so I am pretty sure he was well versed and could sniff out bull...you could tell the Attorneys that he trusted and ours was one of them. I cannot stress enough the importance of getting a good Attorney that is well trusted. And be honest. We only had standard questions and only one extra about the value of our timeshare (which we surrendered)...he laughed about them not being very sellable. Easy PEASY!!! Now...it's sit and wait for our 60 days!!! Thanks to everyone who shares their experiences here!!!!
