By the time our 341 happens I'll be on maternity leave with a brand new baby (I'm due in 17 days!). Would it be frowned upon to take the baby to the meeting? I really don't want to have to explain to my parents why I'd need them to watch the baby for such a short period of time.

taking a newborn wouldnt be a good idea as you dont know when you'll be called up by the trustee; could be first - could be last. Perhaps you can just ask your mom if she could watch the baby for a little while as you have an appointment or something along those lines? From start to finish our 341 was roughly 1.5 hours or therebouts. Had to be there early, wait for trustee...go through the counseling session/explanation by trustee prior to being called up - and we were like the 4th couple called up. After that, we had to meet with our attorney in another room as well - so yep, about 1.5 - 2 hours start to finish.

Im in Az and I was told bringing our Son would be no problem at all. We decided to leave him home with my mother anyway but my attorney acted like it was no big deal and a few people did bring older kids with them.Comment
