Boy, was I dreading it! I've had diarrhea for the last two days...didn't sleep well last night..my heart was pounding...
It was a lot less painful that I thought it was gonna be. Was done in under 5 minutes. The Trustee asked me how long I've been at my current employer, what my hourly wage per hour was...how long I've been married, how long I've had the debt--I said I've had credit cards since I was 21 or 22...if we owned our property....what expenses my husband has--I said he has his own credit card and student loans. The trustee told me that any Federal tax refund we get above $1500 has to be turned over to the trustee. I already reduced my witholdings at work so I'm hoping we won't get a huge return. The Trustee doesn't care that we always have to pay the State of Ohio and the city we live in because I work in a different state. aND at the end the trustee recommended that my case be confirmed.
Anyway, there was about 5 of us driving down to the courthouse in Youngstown, OH from our attorney's office. In the parking lot another client came up to me and asked me if I'd like to ride with her since I was by myself. I said sure! Offered her gas money but she declined it..I paid for parking.
I was thrilled that I met a nice woman today who is also going through a CH 13 of her own...so I hope maybe to have made a new friend! maybe God brought her to me today because He knows I could use a new friend...so that totally made my day!!
Anyway, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! Whew!
