Hello everyone,
I have my 341 meeting this coming Friday. Here's my concern. I spend $500 in groceries (I only buy organic and am terrified about the health issues that I have). Anyway, I had NO idea that I would need receipts as proof of this. Now my lawyer filed my bankruptcy May 5, 2010. Then about 2 weeks afterwards he calls me saying that the trustee would find my grocery bill suspicious. Then he says he wants receipts as proof. He told me to start keeping my receipts because he wants to see why my bill is so high.
I have receipts totaling close to $400 now. My receipt total won't reach $500 till next week because that would have been a whole month since my lawyer asked for the receipts. so i'm upset that my lawyer didn't tell me start collecting receipts sooner. now i'm scared that the trustee will dismiss my case because i don't have enough receipts. Can he dismiss because of this or could I get a continuance???
