I had my 341 this afternoon and I am SO relieved!
My trustee was a very nice older man, and when I went into the room he was wrapping up with the case before me. They left, and it was about fifteen minutes till my case but he said, "Well, we can just do this now, and if any creditors show up later we'll just deal with them."
My attorney was there, we sat down, and everything pretty much went off without a hitch. He noticed on my petition that I'm a writer (I have some fic on the internet, and since it's copyrighted included it in the petition.) He even joked that maybe we'd see me on Oprah one day!
I was pretty happy things went so smoothly. It really does help to come prepared (I brought copies of all my credit counseling certificates, bank statement, etc.), and just relax and know that as long as you're honest you'll be OK.
My worst failing is that I tend to babble, so I was pretty happy that I didn't yammer on and on about my writing. I could talk for hours!
SO! 60-day club for me!! Yay!
And thanks to everyone for sharing your stories on the forum, it really helped me to know what to expect. You're all aces!
