Anyone in Florida Middle Distrist - Fort Myers

My meeting is next week and i was wondering if anyone has a good story from this district. All I have read on this blog is how its the worst.

Our meeting, in Tampa, also Middle District, was good, for us.

It was terrible for other filers, but only those who were either up to obvious wrongdoing or who had serious errors or omissions in their filings.

Florida has a lot of quirks and can be tough. But if you have declared your assets and income honestly, you should be okay. It also depends on the trustee. Some look harder, in unusual places, for tripwires. Personal property declarations are a tough spot.

Your children's belongings do not need to be declared. Check with attorney first, but in our case, our attorney said, "Your children are not filing BK, you are. Therefore, their toys and clothing and so on, are not declared, since they own it. You are "in charge" of those items, but they are not yours."
