I noticed everyone saying the trustee will ask for paperwork about a month before 341 meeting, is this in addition to what my atty already has? My atty told me we would need to bring our most recent paystubs and bank statements to the meeting. Is there "other" paperwork I will need to produce. BTW I'm filing in SE MI.

The good attorneys collect the paperwork from the debtor before filing so when the Trustee asks for paperwork the attorney promptly provides it. Sometimes the attorney does not have a document from you that the Trustee wants and that is when additional documents are requested.

Do you have any idea what the trustee might want outside of the norm (pay stubs, tax returns)?

In Indiana, tho' the atty. had copies of tax returns, I had to mail additional copies to the Trustee 10 days before the 341. At the 341, the Trustee returned the mailed copies to me.

In AZ we have to provide tax returns, 5 months of bank statements, a vehicle questionaire, copies of vehicle titles and recent paystubs. This is in addition to all the forms that we file in the court.

So far for us in AZ, the Trustee asked for 90 days of bank statements, copies of car titles, pay stubs 1 week before and 1 after date of filing, 09 Tax return. Hope this helps. Our 341 in 6/7/10.

I recently had my 341 in AZ and this is exactly what was asked of us. In addition, we also had to provide 401k statements.

you will need your social security card and drivers license as well.

It's going to vary state by state. Here in Denver, I didn't need any bank statements. My lawyer asked for my last three years tax refunds and six months pay stubs. That's all I needed. On the day of the 341, I just needed my ID and SS card.
