    Breath: 341 scheduled 3/18 at 9am

I am trying to breath and keep myself focused. I have everything I can possibly think of. I am sure I won't need any of it. But, I want it for a just in case scenario. We are filing Chapter 13. I checked PACER last night. All creditors have placed a claim except for 2nd, medical. Hubby started new job 2.5 weeks after we filed. When we filed, he had just had an interview. I have the 2 paystubs for the 2 pay periods that he received. We don't have health insurance out yet as we are not eligible until after 90 days. I have the insurance information and pay scale for that.

I read somewhere.....kill em with paperwork.

    I have the following:
    1. 6 months paystubs from hubby's previous job
    2. 2 paystubs from his new job. He has only been paid twice
    3. 6 months bank statements
    4. house papers (keeping)
    5. car title: paid off this past June
    6. 2nd mortgage papers
    7. Van papers...will be paid off June 2011 (keeping)
    8. Medical bills and all receipts as to what I paid for all the therapy, co-pays etc....MRI, $1500 knee brace.
    9. Pre-Discharge class certificates
    10. Driver's licenses
    11. SS cards

We have to be there at 8:45am tomorrow. We are #12 of 13 scheduled at 9am.

    Am I missing anything?

Good luck and take a really deep breath - soon you'll be on the other side of the 341 and be able to rest more peacefully.

BTW - this is my advise to everyone and for once I listened to myself and the past few weeks have been like a breath of fresher air!

Good Luck... Please let us know how it goes. I will be thinking about you, as I am too a PA resident. I think having all of the paperwork is a good ida, and I hadn't really thought about that. I will be getting my papers in order too. I am going to file next week, I guess the 341 will be within 6 weeks of that date.

Do you think that the payments you are making will work for you and your family?

Please give us all the details!

Our 341 is over. We were #4 called at 9am. Very easy and straight forward. Few questions....1. Understand the paperwork you signed? 2. Did you list all assets? 3. Did you list all debts? 4. Have you received any lump sums of cash...inheritance, bonus, lottery winnings? He then went through the computer generation of our filing. No questions and we were done. 4 minutes TOPS. He was very nice.

Our payment will go up about $30 to cover for the $1800 arrears that we missed on filing. No biggie. Payments are VERY doable for us. I can breath now and feel wonderful that we are in the 60 day wait. But, sounds like there won't be any issue with that either.

We are in Middle District of PA.

Glad to hear that all went well. Did he question your expenses at all? Can you tell me some of the things that you listed? I am glad that you said he was nice, that sounds comforting.

Nope, he never questioned any of our expenses. AND, we have $400 for entertainment that he let us have. All 3 of my kids take TaeKwonDo and are under contract. The youngest also races go-karts. He let that go through also. Never questioned any of it. That was the only concern that the lawyer kinda thought may be questioned. DH also got a new and better paying job. Trustee never asked about it. Lawyer said, "if you aren't asked, say nothing." We weren't asked, we said nothing. He did say that we are fine for 2009 payments. Next year, when he receives our tax information, he will know that DH got a new and better paying job and will probably modify.....if it is a 20% difference. It is not. Our tax return is calculated over a 12month period and is income. We get to keep the actual return. No creditors were there.

                EXPENSES:
                1. Mortgage: no issues with expenses
                2. Groceries: $1000/month for family of 5
                3. Entertainment: $400/month allowed
                4. Phones: $100
                5. Gas for car and van: $490/month DH goes 100miles/day

Ask if you have more questions. I know you had mentioned you were in middle district. PM if you want more detail.

Thanks for the information. I am so glad that I can talk with you.

We have an older house - $150 a month for expected repairs?
Medical issues especially dential - $200 a month for expected expenses?
Some of my concerns. We are putting $50.00 a month for entertainment.
I have two grandchildren - and two kids (one not working, and help him alot, but he doesn't live with us) so I can't count that as an expense, however we
do help him with food etc. We put $440 a month for that.

We smoke, I understand you can claim that as an expense. Did you hear anyone with these types of issues?

You are a great for helping! I hope we can stay in touch, so we can help each other.

We have $120 for house repairs/month
Medical: $300. Oldest has braces. Youngest has a TON of teeth issues not covered
                    Food: $1000.

Didn't hear any issues about cigs. We don't smoke, so didn't have that down as expense.

                    When is your 341?

Try not to stress too much. I know, easier said than done....believe me. :-)

Ask away, and I will be more than happy to answer the best I can.
