Sorry to hijack the thread
I'm in the Western district & have my 341 meeting on Wednesday. I haven't recieved notice from the trustee of what to bring to the meeting yet...is that normal? I filed pro se.

You're aware the law requires you to provide pay advices and tax return, right?

I didn't hear from my trustee either. I brought bank statements, older tax returns, etc., just in case, though many will be happy to continue the 341 to another day if something like that is missing.

Yes, I knew about that. I just thought maybe I would need to bring in more. I called the trustee office today and was told I need latest filed tax return, ss card, and drivers license. I'll bring bank statements and any extras just in case. Thanks

At ours we provided SS card, driver's license and our first payment and all that was done with the clerk prior to the 341. Just answered some generic questions posed by the trustee and we were done. Took less than five minutes.

Eastern NC

I We had 341 mtg in eastern nc on April 7th-8 days later the Bank Administrator filed the same thing as you are talking about the abuse motion and then we were going through every thing and found that my income on schedule I was wrong so we amended that and in the mean time sent in all the documentation that the bankruptcy administrator asked for - 12 months of bank statements and our life insurance policies, and our 09 taxes as we had not filed them by the 341 meeting. Anyway--now we are still just waiting to hear something. I think the amendment went in on the 19 of April--so our attorney says we should hear by the 17th!! I feel your pain-we don't know what to think.

South Carolina here and we didn't have to provide the trustee tax returns, current pay stubs, or even bank statements though we took all with us to the 341 meeting. I was amazed and we are 30 days past our 341 now with a report of no distribution filed the same day as our 341 meeting

ahall, it sucks for someone else to be going through this, but also nice to know I'm not alone! Is your BA in Raleigh or Wilson? Ours is in Wilson. I'm still trying to create a spreadsheet of all the expenses paid separately for my stuff and my mom's stuff.

Did the BA say anything about your schedule I for you to realize the mistake? Was your schedule I strictly based on your pay stubs?

I have about three inches of paperwork to turn in... craziness.

I'm in Raleigh-I don't know what the guy didn't like --not a clue--We may hear by this friday. I heard this guy is new and really is trying to get make a reputation for himself. I just scared about what to do when and if he dismisses our case as y husband travels for his job and has to have $500 a week or more that somes out of our account and then is reimbursed only to be used the next week and we never know if his home off will want him to fly somewhere so I see no way for him to keep his job in a Chapter 13. I was hoping that since we amended our income and filed that and then turned in everything that maybe we would get a break--but I think that's along shot. I am scared to death--we have put 4 kids through College-the last one just graduated -up to our ears in parent plus loans and then the credit card debt -my husband's sales job is swirling the toliet -The taxes do show he made 30,000 less this year--I am also glad someone else understands although -I feel for you too!! Keep me posted I would like to know when and if you get discharged!!! I would like to know if we don't get this hsould we take what's left of my husband's 401k and try to negoiate ?? He is 591/2--?? Any advise is appreciated--
