341 Questions

I have my 341 on Mar 4th, I was wondering about questions pertaining to funds used. I can answer general questions like, what was the money used for but are they going to ask me questions like, what was this 1000 dollars in May 2008 for? I have a business and sooo many check are written am I going to have to recall them all?

Most likely that you will not have any such questions unless you are really moving lots of money around.

At my 341 we had no questions regarding specific amounts we spent before filing. As I recall, there were no spending questions for any of the others there either.

At my 341 the trustee looked at the most recent bank statements and questioned just about anyone who had large transactions recently.
We have a small business and he did ask us about anything over 1000.00, that seemed to be the magic number for him. But he did not go back further than the last month's bank statement.

Thanks, no all the amounts were big but they were in 2007 and early 2008 thats why I was wondering. If they pull out something asking about amounts I will just have to say I dunno

i'm in the CA central district, and my attorney said the TT does not ask for bank statements. They are so busy here, they move people through here like Cattle, and the TT only has time to look for the obvious.
