    I need some help!!!!

I was just discharged on 8/19. I have been checking my student loan lender, which is Direct Student Loans, and everything has been fine. My account was not suspended throughout the BK process. Now that I have been discharged the account has been suspended. They are closed on the weekend so I can not contact them on Monday. I remembering reading some past threads on Direct loans doing this to people. I have been in school since 2008. I graduated in May from one college and for the Fall I am attending another university to complete my undergraduate degree. There has only been a lapse of one week that I was not enrolled in a school, because the university had to process all my paperwork. I have been ensured from the university that I will be receiving grants and loans, but they still are pending. So I am now starting to get a little stressed. School starts on Tuesday and my loans and grants still have not been approved officially.

So my first question is what do I need to do first to have direct loan remove the account suspension? I was never out of school and no where in my loan packet does it state that if I had to file bankruptcy my accounts would automatically be suspended. Nor does it state that since I filed BK that I would be required to pay the loans back in full.

Secondly is this a violation of the BK code?

I am going to contact Direct loans on Monday, but I want to make sure that what I am saying is accurate.

I know that since I have not exited school that I should not be required to pay these loans back. My expected graduation date is the fall of 2011.

Anyone have any information on what to do here would be greatly appreciated. I am stressed to say the least. I was supposed to be able to buy my books on Friday and now since the lender has put the loan status in suspension I can not even buy my books unless I have the cash in hand or they finish processing my student loan and grant information. Classes start on Tuesday and I will have to start class without my books. HELP!!!!!!!
