Sallie Mae said "Paid in Full"??

I was in deferment during my bk, but had access to my online Sallie Mae account 2 weeks after my discharge. Already made my March payment and it is posted!

You have to list them on your petition yes, but they are not dischargable. When you file, they will go into bankruptcy deferrment and you will not be able to use your account online. After your bankruptcy is over, it will take them a month or more to get their acts together and give you back your account access and start your payments up again.

I didn't realize they would go into deferrment. I thought I would be able to continue making payments. Thank you Amy and SPalin.

Wow lucky SPalin... I didn't get my access back for over a month. Something to do with the private loan I had with them taking longer to revert back than the federal ones.

You can still mail in a check, but I think it has to go to the Bk department or you could still use your own banks bill pay service. I found this out just before my discharge.
