I will need to take out a loan to help my son pay for college and my BK7 was discharged in June 2008. Do I have a chance with getting any of these lendors?

It looks like a Chap 7 that's over 5 years old will not disqualify you from a parents plus loan. https://studentloans.gov/myDirectLoan/faqs.action

I can't find similar information for Wells Fargo or Sallie Mae. Try calling them and asking.

I hope you have explored all other options, including your son taking is own loans, before putting yourself on the hook.
