    Several CRA problems

    Went Chapter7 June-October 2005
Started clearing my Credit reports with all 3 agencies this summer

After 90 days of paying for my reports, sending letters, and waiting they are jacking me around.
Still reporting accounts not included in bankruptcy as included.
Still refusing to remove inaccurate duplicate accounts and info.
Now reporting 3 old collection accounts I paid 100% cash to as included in Chapter 7, when they never were.

They are systematically dragging feet, and not providing any real assistance.

Now, without any such request from me, they added verifiy identity this consumer has identity theft history. Which makes it difficult for me myself to gain information or reports online.
This is an attempt to make it difficult to gain reports and clean them up myself. I never asked them to add any protection and lock down my reports.

Besides suing them to clean my reports, what can I do next?

Is it possible to have the identity verification lifted?
    Discharged 2/27/06, closed 6/1/06

I've read, here I think, that sometimes if you start disputing too much, the CRA's flag your account as possible idendity theft or fraud because of all the activity...............

don't know if that is true or not -- anyone ever hear that?

Yes, they will do that if you dispute inquiries. You can request in writing to have it lifted. been there done that.

          Here is my complaint,
They are all reporting most recent history as august 2006??

On accounts which were closed in 2004 and chapter7 discharged in 2005.

My FICO tools are showing they are actually lowering my FICO scores by reporting my payment history updates as of this month???

The payment dates should have been coded as of June 2005, or in 2004.
Not this month, simply because I am asking them to clean my report up now.

What can I do, they won't help me improve my scores?

YEP...happened to hubby!!! We could have it lifted , if we sent them copies of DL SS# utility bill, etc..first born...etc....OR we could just wait the 90 day for it to "fall off" they list a date as to when it expires..it did on hubby's.....we waited and it's been fine ever since!!...LOL

Euqifax and Experian did it Not Trans ?

"Now reporting 3 old collection accounts I paid 100% cash to as included in Chapter 7, when they never were."

Were these debts that you paid off originally included in your BK (on your Matrix)?

I had a GMAC auto loan for 23k that I paid off at the very end of my BK and they are reporting the same "Inc. in BK" as opposed to paid off in full, in good standing.

I was wondering the same myself - whether they should be reporting as though it was never incl. in the BK since I paid it off (in essence, reaffirming the debt'). Don't know if this is the same situation you are in but that may be why the CRA is reporting it this way.

If we are talking the same thing - does anyone know if a creditor can still report as Incl. in BK when it was paid in full, because they were orig. included on the matrix?

Hopefully I didn't confuse things by chiming in here.
              BK filed Oct. 05
              Discharged June 06

Post BK (pre-dispute) scores (as of 8/15/06):
              Equifax: 549
              Experian: 545
              TransUnion: 554

              SPAY/NEUTER your pets!!

One female cat and her kittens can theoretically produce 420,000 cats in a 7 year period!!! SPAY/NEUTER!!!!

Indoor cats live an average of 17 yrs, outdoor only 4 yrs - you do the math.
