I disputed with TU a couple months ago. When I got the response, many things were corrected, but a few were not. I sent in another dispute using the advice of the board. I used the "incorrectly coded" wording. Well, I received the response quite quickly, but there are still problems with the report.
First of all, in my original credit report, before any disputes were sent in, they have my CitiFinancial Auto in the satisfactory account list. After my first dispute, they moved my CitiFinancial account into the unsatisfactory section, and have it listed as included in ch.7. This wasn't correct, as I reaffirmed. So, with my second dispute, I asked them to correct it. Well, after receiving the results, they still haven't moved the account back into the satisfactory section, and it is still being reported as IIB. This is infuriating, as there is absolutely no negative history associated with this account.
So, now what am I to do? They never should have put the account in the negative history to begin with, and now they won't move it. Should I just go directly to CitiFinancial now and have them report correctly? I don't know how that will help when it wasn't even CitiFinancial who screwed up.
The next question is this....They have all accounts IIB reporting as such now, but most of the balance columns are blank. Shouldn't they say $0? Is it bad to have a blank in that section, or does it matter?
I hate TU.
