I recently got denied by Home Depot when buying some appliances (my home had a burglary and the perpetrators skipped over all the fancy electronics I had and stole my washer/dryer! 
), so I am a bit leery about getting another hard credit hit, lest I have issues with some my current CCs for having too many hard credit hits. I don't need the CC, but of course it would be nice to have more CCs to get brownie points for loans I might want in the future (i.e., a home). There doesn't seem to be any gotchas I can tell (no annual fee or account set-up fee), although the APR is customarily ridiculous (I don't keep any balances unless I get a good deal I like I have on a 0%, 4%-fee BT for 18 months, or another one for purchases with 0% for 9 months.)
