I ch 13 'd a SAMs club and dept store card that was GE bank back in 2007. My discharge has fallen off my credit report. I was wanting to get a gas card from chevron. On the app it says no bankruptcies. How bk friendly are they? Or is it a waste of time.

GE Capital Retail Bank (GECRB) is very bankruptcy friendly. Even if you select "bankruptcy" they still approve credit. You may be surprised at what they offer. GECRB is the Wal*Mart of "department" and "retail" store cards. In fact, they back the Wal*Mart credit card itself.
