    Denied by Comenity Bank

I'm about to buy a new Trek Bicycle and was going to put it on a Trek CC for 6 months at 0% interest but was denied. I was surprised that I was denied since I did my homework and they're supposed to be BK friendly.
Either not BK friendly or didn't like something else. I haven't received the denial letter yet but I'll update when I do.

Comenity is BK friendly, but not all Comenity cards have the same approval requirements. Most notable easy ones to get: Victoria's Secret, Express, Buckle, J Crew. Even though they are Comenity-backed cards, do a search for the individual card.

Those cards wouldn't buy me a bike I was going to use it as a bridge until my bonus showed up and luckily for me it showed up much earlier than expected so I don't need it anymore. Screw them

Have you tried a Sportsman's Guild Visa by Comenity Bank? Try the shopping cart trick, I was approved for $2,000, no annual fee.

That's Sportsmans guide in Minnesota? Thanks for the tip, I'll give it a try tomorrow ( I always try to operate during normal business hours when applying or asking for anything). I used to buy ammo from them before the Sandy Hook incident but since then nothing's ever in stock.
filed chapter 13..confirmed...converted to chapter 7...DISCHARGED!

Received the denial letter and it said I was denied to to my BK. If I knew they didn't lend to people in BK I would never have applied.

Logan, in my experience, I've seen the BK as a reason for denial, or one of the reasons, and 3 or 6 months later I'll try again and am approved. I've learned not to pay too much attention to the denials, sometimes they seem like dart board responses.

Pjmax, I can get the card through my wife at anytime but everything I read said this bank was BK friendly. The bike's going to cost me around 7K and I'll just put it on my AMEX and get the 2% cash back instead.
