Credit Report Clean up...

I have been working on cleaning up my credit reports for a few months.

It is amazing how two of the companies have been very easy to deal with and one (EQ) has been very difficult.

All in all, I didn't think it would take months to get a few items revised so they showed correctly. And even when they revise items, they have not been 100% updated and I have to start all over.

All I want to do is get everything in line so I can apply for a new CC.

I also noticed that an item or two that was included in my BK7 has been completely removed from my credit reports.

Anyone else dealing with this?

It took over 6 months to get everything correct for me, and I still have one stubborn one left on EQ, won't report IIB. I decided to just leave it alone for awhile.

Yes, all collections and I think 2 OC accounts went away on mine.

Just keep an eye on your reports, some accounts that were IIB'd were sold again post BK, and reappeared after something like 6-7 mos. I've heard this isn't unusual. It's easy to get them off quickly, but it's a PIA and disappointing when they show up and your scores tank after all the rebuilding work.
