New Capital One Card on the way!

Our chapter 7 was discharged December 24, 2012. I just applied for a Capital One Platinum card and was approved for $2,000. 24.9% APR and $19 annual fee after the first year. I plan to use this card only to build my credit score and definitely keep it under 30% utilization and paid in full every month.

I wasn't sure if I would get approved because when I used their pre-qualify tool it always gave me the message that they "Couldn't match my records to a card offer". I figured what the heck and applied and was approved within a minute online!

Congratulations.... Same exact limit and terms I received recently. I was discharged in June 28, 2012. Like you, I would do the online preapproval every couple of months. Always getting the "Couldn't match my records to a card". Then recently I got the congratulations message.
