Got a CC Offer they must think I'm stupid.............

Both my hubby and I got a cc offer in the mail today from First Premier Bank annual fee 175.00 per year plus a 25.00 processing fee. Annual interest rat 36 percent. Well guess where they went into the shredder never to be seen again.

i can't believe 36%!!!!!!!!! i think that must be the highest i have ever heard of! i think there are one or two states....delaware and i think it's south dakota or one of those that have no or really odd usury laws. that's why many of us see so many cc's coming out of those states because they can do that. i think it be a federal limit!

36% ouch!! and down right nasty!

WOW....36% and those kind of fees! At least you got some kind of offer....Even though it was a shredder.

I was discharged in 06/12 and haven't got one single offer. Credit reports cleaned up and nothing....

You've got to be REALLY hard up to use rates such as this. If you are......back into bk you go. 'Hub

They must be "mellowing". I received an offer 2 years ago, $175 annual, $25 processing, $300 limit at 70% ... such a deal!

                        Sorry,
My mistake. Wifey reminded me it was 79.9%. A few months later we received an offer from them at 59.9%. Don't think they do that any more. Google first premier 79.9

That's just laughable.... 79.9%, 59.9% or even 36%. Unbelievable! I agree with 'Hub on this. Wow! I didn't know it was even legal to charge rates like that.

These are the type of CC offers we have been getting lately now too. Shred, shred, shred! The most annoying are all the car loan offers. Yikes! I like my cash lifestyle right now. We just cleaned up a few errors on our credit reports, and that's all we have done with credit after bankruptcy so far.

I'm 27/48 payments into my Chapter 13 and I'm still getting these types of offers, too. I even received an offer from my mortgage servicer bank. This same bank had previously tried to collect an $800 fee from me because I am "in bankruptcy."
