    See, the reason for negative responses on this thread is that many people would not view this action as an "accomplishment". And the best possible outcome of your action is that you get earlier access to borrowed money...something I'm working hard to avoid ever needing again.

      My gut is telling me that the responses here are by folks with the financial motivation keep the status-quo. This is not me.

        I haven't been on this forum for a while and I actually can't believe there is some guy posting about forging documents to change his credit report. There are rules and laws to abide by and if you can figure out how to improve your credit while following those rule and laws then you're welcome to share but please keep illegal activities to yourself.

          My first point is probably the most apt...for credit scoring and for most things credit related, the discharge date is not relevant, the filing date is relevant.

            I'd rather keep a bad credit score than lie about something to get it lowered. I simply would not feel comfortable with that. I felt guilty enough declaring bankruptcy.

              $143,000 in debt discharged for $36,500, including attorneys fees. Money well spent!
