I did BK Chase although it was a very small amount but doubt that it matters how? I did have a car loan with them about 2 years ago that I paid off in about a year so maybe that had something to do with the approval. I was surprised and not expecting an approval but after my bank (Perkstreet--they suck BTW) cut their rewards program in half and started charging to redeem the cash rewards I looked into a rewards CC and Chase Freedom is pretty good.
Also, I would have a card one way or another since I would of just had my wife apply if I hadn't been approved.

Wow, that is awesome! I thought Chase was super strict about not giving BK'ers credit, especially if you BK'd them? Sorry to hear about your bank, I know you were tickled to death with them when you first signed up.

Perkstreet had alot of promises but never delivered. I signed up a year ago and they said an APP was on the way. They're still saying an APP is on the way. Also, there are too many Dave Ramsey Holier than though people on their facebook page that were irritating me and you kind of need to follow their facebook or twitter to get info from them. The Dave Ramsey people would criticize anyone for wanting a credit card or car loan or anything like that. If you want to live your life without a credit card that's fine but don't tell me I should to. But then again whenever I've listened to Dave Ramsey he likes to preach and shove is view (financial and religion) down your throat and if a caller calls with a stupid question he talks down to them. Dave Ramsey declared BK once yet he tells all of his listeners not to go that path.
