Silly Question on paying credit card

I know this is an elementary question but here goes....

I got a secured card through Navy Federal with a $1000 limit last month and charged about $95 on the card. I have yet to get the first bill yet but I know I want to pay the balance each month. Do I wait to get the bill then pay or do I pay before the statement to insure there is no interest tapped on.

Told you it was elementary lol I never had a credit card and my bk was not due to any credit card debt, but divorce.....

Whether or not interest accrues on a daily basis or monthly, after a grace period, would be defined by your cardmember agreement. If you have NFCU, just pay online before or on the next statement dates. You would need to contact NFCU to determine when that card bills.

I don't know about the Navy Federal card, but I have an Orchard Bank CC and Capital One and interest isn't applied until after the due date for my minimum payment. I've paid them in full every month and haven't seen any interest what so ever. Hope this helps.
